Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary

The MSU Tech Store is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support daily retail operations and maintain accurate inventory records. Responsibilities include customer service and sales support, opening and closing the store, conducting weekly and annual inventories for P&L reporting, processing in‑store and online orders, and managing shipping and receiving. Strong organizational skills, inventory experience, and customer service abilities are essential.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in retail and purchasing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license required.

  • Inventory management system experience
  • Vendor order tracking and communication experience
  • High organizational skills needed
  • Lifting, bending and body strength needed
  • Experience transporting product around a warehouse/storefront
