Description
Santa Fe Recovery Center is a leading provider of substance use disorder and mental health treatment and education services. We are looking for a full-time Director of Children and Family Services to join our team at our Santa Fe offices. We offer a competitive salary range from $60,000 - $80,000 (BOE) and the Benefits shown below. Experience working in the Healthcare Industry and/or Non-Profit is highly preferred. Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Prevention and Recovery Officer, the Director of Children and Family Services is responsible for the operational success of the Santa Fe Recovery Center’s community-based services for children and their families. This role ensures seamless team management, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation. The Director will oversee a growing staff and the expansion of prevention, treatment, and recovery services using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) designed for children and their families in the community. Additionally, the Director serves as the Project Director for the SAMHSA Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health (LAUNCH) grant, overseeing project deliverables such as screening, assessments, training activities, public awareness communications, and data collection and utilization to reduce inequities. The Director will lead the coordination of project activities and communicate outcomes to all participating organizations.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with grantors, colleagues, and community partners to ensure service quality, programmatic sustainability, and service expansion.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the impact of services on clients and communities served by the Center.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard project staff and manage a growing team and department of child and family services and community-based prevention services.
- Evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff and implement a professional development program to address any gaps.
- Develop objective performance measurements in alignment with the Center’s strategic goals and values, ensuring consistent evaluation and goal setting for all team members.
- Instill accountability among team members by maintaining tight oversight of individual and organizational performance standards.
- Establish and implement consistent, objective program performance standards in coordination with organizational leadership.
- Oversee the successful delivery and implementation of the SAMHSA LAUNCH Grant, including screening & assessments, training of staff, provider training for external partners, public awareness campaign, a Child Wellness Council, prevention initiatives, and data utilization to reduce inequities.
- Coordinate and communicate project activities and outcomes to colleagues and leadership of participating organizations.
- Manage and expand prevention, treatment, and recovery services using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) specifically designed for children and their families.
- Supervise and develop a growing team, ensuring that staff are equipped to meet the needs of the program and its clients.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, grant requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Continuously monitor and improve the quality and effectiveness of services, adjusting as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the community.
