The Administrative Associate will be responsible for conducting, processing, and assisting the Disability and Waiver of Premium claims organization in providing support through existing processes within the Claims Completion & Support Unit.

This position requires employee to be onsite in Newark, NJ 5 days a week.

What you can expect:

  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Processing of incoming documents for new and existing claim records.
  • Provide back-office support to the Group Insurance Claims organization, such printing and shipping claim file materials.
  • Following the vital steps to acquire the missing information in claims.
  • Detailing claim information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Understanding and applying general concepts for processes within the Claims Support unit.
  • Maintain and organize data-based claims-related materials.
  • Managing multiple work assignments at the same time and deliver deadlines.
  • Dedication to support a work environment that fosters Diversity and Inclusion.

What you’ll need:

  • Ability to review and identify key information needed for Disability claims and/or Waiver of Premium claims.
  • Meticulous focus, detail-oriented and exceptional time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to learn a variety of processes and procedures and adapt to meet capacity needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Additional project work may also be assigned, as needed.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $39,400.00 to $61,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
