JOB SUMMARY: 

Caesars Entertainment is looking for a talented Social Content Editor to join our team! You are a crucial member of the team as you help to capture and edit dynamic, social first content for our social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and more. The ideal candidate must have an exceptional eye for content aesthetics, trends, and overall what’s viral in the moment while thriving in a fast, deadline-driven timeline. The Social Content Editor will be responsible for developing high-quality content for the Caesars Entertainment’s social media channels. They will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will share their learnings with Team Members and stakeholders to consistently deliver excellence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. The Social Content Editor will leverage a deep understanding of social platforms and creative formats to produce original, high-quality content that elevates Caesars Entertainment’s brands. Working with in-house teams and external partners, they will transform ideas into thumb-stopping videos, images, and more that align with our brand identity.
  2. Use editing and design software such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects to help bring video content to life as well as mobile content editing apps.
  3. Organize and manage the team’s social asset library.
  4. Have a mobile first approach to capturing content and an understanding of social media content best practices. 
  5. Pitch, develop and execute new video concept ideas that are social forward. 
  6. Work with contributing talent to develop social segment ideas and bite-sized content.
  7. Plan to edit and produce social media content for specific initiatives and tentpole events with a quick turn deadline in mind.
  8. Participate in broader strategic discussions regarding content and audience engagement. 
  9. Audit and maintain standards/guidelines on brand tone, voice, and curation content mix. 
  10. Must have a positive attitude and the flexibility to work with several departments and personalities at all levels of the organization.
  11. Live cover events and activations as needed with best-in-class execution when it comes to social media marketing best practices.
  12. Delivers work on or before deadline.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience.
  2. Significant experience creating and editing high-quality social media content with at least 3 years of experience
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop starter knowledge of After Effects.
  4. Extensive knowledge and management of the postproduction process: digital capture, editing, color, retouching and archiving
  5. Proven experience shooting with DSLR camera and ability to use and scale to different types of content capture equipment based on project needs
  6. Strong visual skills, including an eye for good lighting, shot composition, and use of color
  7. Hands-on experience from concepting to production, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the execution
  8. Compelling online portfolio demonstrating creative versatility, conceptual thinking, and superb design execution
  9. Deep understanding social media channels, including the types of content needed to resonate with channel-specific consumers
  10. Highly collaborative with the ability to respond professionally to creative direction and constructive feedback
  11. Organization skills that allow for multiple projects to be produced simultaneously.
  12. Positive and creative attitude with the ability to hit deadlines while working under pressure.
  13. Ability to work independently and effectively, paired with a self-starter attitude.
  14. Occasional travel required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: 

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, from property to property. Must be able to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations.  Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.  Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
