Job Summary

DRS RADA Technologies is seeking System Integration & Test Engineers to focus on test and evaluation of radar systems. Your immediate focus will be on operational testing of the systems we build here in the US. Testing will involve radars, may include other counter-defensive components, command and control systems, and tests may be performed in stationary configurations or on the-move configurations on land vehicles or ships and may be performed locally, at customer sites, or test ranges.
 
Duties include participating in a complex integration program; establish methods and techniques, write integration procedures and reports, and conduct integration utilizing comprehensive knowledge of complex subsystems.

Job Responsibilities

•    Take ownership of product Cyber Security to deliver regular updates and improvements to DoD customers.
•    Provide training on the Cyber Hardening process to Field Service Representatives and DoD customers.
•    Perform operational test performance against requirements, identify deficiencies, maintain test discrepancy database, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with engineers/developers to correct deficiencies
•    Support integration of subsystems, or the radar systems into high level platforms
•    Document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems
•    Communicate clearly (written and oral) with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and the customer as required
•    Design and develop test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services
•    Write test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications
•    Debug test hardware and software
•    Report on progress and status regularly
•    Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of integration engineering experience on a development contract including systems/hardware integration and troubleshooting
•    DOD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
•    Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
•    Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment
•    Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
•    Experience supporting DoD customers and processes
•    Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite Tools (JIRA)
•    Experience with remediating security issues on Windows, Linux, or network devices.
•    Familiarity with Windows 10 and Linux security practices and implementation
•    The ability to travel for business needs, but not to exceed 25% per year

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience in working with vulnerability tools (e.g. Nessus, OpenVAS, SCAP Compliance Checker)
•    Experience in applying Security Technical Implementation Guide controls on Window, Linux, network devices.
•    Experience with the DoD architectural framework and design guidance for radar systems and systems engineering processes
•    Ability to effectively collaborate with industry and academic partners
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership within the company, customer and academic communities
•    Prior experience integrating complex hardware/software systems
•    Prior experience operating radar systems
•    Strong analysis skills and abilities

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
