Description
The Fashion program on the Downtown Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Online campuses at Arizona State University invites applications for Faculty Associates to teach undergraduate courses online and/or on-campus in: Fashion
These positions are one semester appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Faculty Associate course load is one to two classes per semester. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes).
The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Faculty Associate assignments are paid $1,500 per credit hour over the length of the session.
Anticipated start date is: Fall 2024, Session A, B and/or C OR Spring 2025 Session A, B, or C

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field 4 years of industry experience or a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 2 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to teaching excellence
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field
- Record of scholarly publication and/or evidence of professional development in relevant field
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching experience
