Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing/Rehab Center

Seeking LPN for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Flexible Schedule - Choose your own days.

Shift duration: 12 hours long.

Day shifts and night shifts available. 6:30am-6:30pm, and 6:30pm-6:30am.

Pay: $29-$32/hour

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients’ health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Communicates with patients and their families.
• Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.

Licensed Practical Nurse Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of Michigan state approved training program
• Michigan LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years recent nursing experience
