Software Engineer- Mid

Responsibilities

Peraton’s Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment. This position is 100% on-site.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• 3+ years of experience with Java
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience with Shell Script
• 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux
• 2 years of experience with JavaScript
• TS/SCI with current poly, or ability to obtain poly

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
• Familiarity with NiFi
• Experience with cross-domain systems

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
