Retail Shop Assistant PT (73642)

Retail Shop Assistant will communicate daily with the PNTC Shop Manager and is expected to handle all aspects of commercial retail in the PNTC Shop. Shop Staff will follow all directives given by the PNTC Shop Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shop / Classroom Cleaning & Organization
  • Front of shop and back of shop will be cleaned daily and organized with direction from the Shop Manager.
  • Will help Shop Manager organize the shop displays to keep a professional and presentable space for guests.
  • Ensure by every Sunday at COB all classrooms and shop are vacuumed and trash removed with guidance from Shop Manager.
  • Every Sunday glass in shop will be cleaned.
  • Trash will be emptied daily.
• Shop Inventory
  • Ensure price tags are legible and accurate.
  • Assist shop manager with inventory counts for cleaning supplies, beverages and shop merchandise.
  • Restock standing products: beverages (in store and vending machine), ammunition, and targets daily.
• Shipping
  • Assist Shop Manager with Measuring, weighing and preparing boxes for shipment.
  • Ensure any shipments are received and processed by close of business, inform Shop Manager of any received firearms or suppressors.
  • Assist with unloading and unboxing packages received.
• POS Terminal
  • Run the POS system for purchases within the shop.
  • Verify with Shop Manager when applying member and employee discounts.
  • Assist Shop Manager with drawer count.
• Phone System
  • Monitor and answer the shop phone system.
  • Stay professional and courteous when speaking with anyone on the phone and in person.
  • If you are unable to answer a question, get with the Shop Manager for assistance.
• Non-specific Tasks
  • Execute non-specific tasks at the direction of PNTC Operations Management.

• Retail Experience (Preferred).

Preferred:

• Retail Experience
• JROTC / Civil Air Patrol Preferred

Schedule School Not in Session Hours:

Fri: 9:30AM to 5:30PM (Potentially)

Sat: 8:30AM to 5:30PM

Sun: 11:30AM to 5:30PM

Schedule Winter Hours

Sat: 8:30AM to 4:30PM

Sun: 11:30AM to 4:30PM
