Boeing is seeking an Experienced or Senior Maintenance Pre-Planning Support Integration Specialist located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Integration Specialist for this organization will lead a team providing sustainment and modification support to the USAF to help maintain and sustain its fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft. The chosen candidate will evaluate maintenance requirements, research support equipment, parts, materials, and tools to support aircraft maintenance and associated planning activity. Additionally, this position will identify and plan for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance based on current requirements and historical maintenance activity. This position will work across to integrate other Boeing Functions to plan and find areas of efficiency that contribute to the overall maintenance efficiency. Furthermore, this position will provide training to junior early career colleagues; and interface regularly with the USAF and Government customers to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.
Position Responsibilities:
This Integration Specialist will also contribute to the following, but not limited to, statement of work:
Develop and maintain requirements tracking in support of aircraft heavy maintenance.
Support the development of heavy maintenance work packages and job cards.
Validate aircraft, support equipment, parts, and materials are scheduled and routed per plan.
Reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate both contractor led and customer led maintenance.
Maintain awareness of operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events.
Provide support for operator recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
Master's degree or higher
10+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Operations
Experience with aircraft depot maintenance (i.e. scheduled, unscheduled, C-Check)
Experience with depot maintenance task cards and work flow scheduling
Experience with Boeing aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogue, and component maintenance manuals
Experience and fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Project
Ability to build positive relationships, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly
Regularly brief Boeing Executive leadership and Air Force leadership in support of stated objectives
Experience supporting military commercial derivative aircraft with FAA continued airworthiness.
Experience with aircraft maintenance management, including planning and alignment of maintenance requirements and capturing and utilizing maintenance records.
Familiarity with Tech Orders and other aircraft engineering data.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
