Job Description

Summary:

The Parts Runner is responsible for picking up and delivering parts to and from the service shop, as needed by the Service Technicians. The Runner will also stock parts, clean, and keep the parts area neat and organized. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive printed parts tickets, pull the requested parts, and deliver them to service technicians.
• Stock shelves with new inventory and maintain an organized parts department.
• Return unneeded parts to inventory after service completion.
• Assist with keeping the parts area clean and organized.
• Provide fast and accurate support to ensure efficient workflow between parts and service teams.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred

Additional Information

Compensation (Hourly):

• $21.00 / hour

*The Parts Runner Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of twenty-one dollars an hour*

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• 5 days a week / 2 days off
• Off Sundays
• Weekend availability required
• Service Drive Hours:
  • Monday - Friday: 7:30am to 6pm
  • Saturday: 7:30am to 5:30pm
