About the role
Shape the future of entertainment by overseeing scripted series, unscripted, and movie post productions from development through delivery at Amazon MGM Studios. You'll collaborate with creative teams, production partners, and internal departments to bring innovative content to millions of viewers across 240+ countries, solving complex post production challenges while managing budgets, schedules, and logistics on a global scale.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>• Oversee on-time delivery and on-budget execution for post production of all series and movies projects in development, production, and post production for scripted and unscripted content <br/>• Oversee and approve post production budgets, bids, and calendars <br/>• Make recommendations and vet show's staff and vendors<br/>• Coordinate with production and creative teams to assess scope and challenges of projects <br/>• Collaborate closely with internal Localization, Distribution Operations, Delivery and Technology teams in preparing shows for global release <br/>• Liaise with studio stakeholders on cross-collaboration initiatives<br/>• Engage with Marketing, Communications and Prime Video team members to deliver assets <br/>• Evaluate technical workflows <br/>• Travel as required in support of show planning and execution <br/><br/><br/>A day in the life<br/>As a Post Production Executive, you'll lead shows from development through archival — ensuring all Amazon MGM Studios technical specifications and asset requirements are met. You will oversee and approve post production calendars, budgets, and workflows, and guide external partners and vendors from onboarding through final delivery. Teams across Creative, Production, Marketing, Communications, Distribution Operations, Delivery, Localization and others will rely on you for post production expertise, risk identification, and problem-solving — all in service of meeting Amazon's high quality bar on time for global launch.<br/><br/>About the team<br/>We are a collaborative, cross-functional post production team dedicated to supporting and creating world-class content across all genres — scripted and unscripted series, documentaries, and movies — that resonates with audiences globally.
