Position Overview:

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Office of Inspector General, Bureau of Medicaid Integrity is seeking to hire an individual to serve as Analyst Supervisor over analysts in the Long Term Care-Asset Discovery Initiative section. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, planning, and coordinating skills supervising the staff who investigate, review, and evaluate Long Term Care Medicaid applications for Illinois residents. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate and advise staff regarding policies and procedures related to Long Term Care, as well as demonstrate the ability to develop and implement new and existing programmatic objectives while demonstrating a work history of managing large case files and caseloads while assisting staff with their cases. The candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations for Medicaid programs and eligibility related to long term care. Excellent leadership, organizational, oral, and written communication skills are vital to succeed in this position.
