Description
Oversees the following functions: human resources. Plans, organizes, and directs all aspects of the human resource functions including benefits, training, policy development, compensation, employment cycle, union/labor relations, worker compensation, employee health (in coordination with Nursing – home department), and EAP services. Responsibilities include management of department employees, strategic planning, training, project development, problem resolution, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
Minimum Education:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required. A Master’s degree in one of these fields preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the role of human resources manager or director in an organization of 200+ employees required. Experience in working with unions, highly preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Highly developed oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to set priorities and accomplish projects in a fast-paced work environment, strong ability to work in a team environment, highly developed organizational and problem solving skills.
Salary: $121,000 - $163,350/year
