QC Supervisor - Warehouse Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Control Supervisor to oversee warehouse quality and compliance in our 3PL warehouse operations. This role requires experience spanning warehouse kitting, outbound fulfillment, returns handling, GMP compliance, and quality assurance procedures. The QC Supervisor will ensure adherence to FDA regulatory and company standards, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction through defect-free operations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Compliance

• Oversee kitting operations to ensure compliance with protocols, and assembly standards.
• Manage and confirm proper LOT documentation management for inventory control and regulatory compliance, especially during kitting operations and special projects.
• Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitary practices during product kitting, handling, and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the operations team to develop and enforce QA/QC protocols, including training staff on compliance and best practices.

Returns Management

• Supervise the returns process, including inspection and documentation to determine product disposition
• Maintain accurate records of returned items and ensure timely reporting for compliance and inventory adjustments.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in handling returns.

Fulfillment QA Oversight

• Conduct audits of outbound orders to verify accuracy and quality of packages before shipment.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in outbound orders, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Work closely with the fulfillment team to enhance accuracy and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and train staff, ensuring a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement solutions.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Operations Manager on QC metrics, compliance status, and team performance.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of quality control or QA experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, preferably in the dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with FDA LOT control, GMP standards, and QA procedures is required.

• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP compliance, and inventory LOT tracking systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish

Working Conditions

• Majority of time spent in a warehouse environment, with occasional office work.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
