About the role:
The Financial Analyst III will play a key role within the Urology finance team. The individual will provide reporting, analytics and planning primarily supporting our capital equipment business and gross margin components of the P&L, and will be a key contributor to understanding and communicating the financial performance of the division.
This position also partners with senior management of the division, providing support and consultation on their functional areas of the business. Position reports to the Urology Associate Director and has a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, as well as interaction with other divisional and regional finance groups across the organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary business partner for Sustaining, Quality and Regulatory R&D functions for budgets. Support headcount planning, forecasting, reporting and financial close.
- Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close including necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, generation of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules, management reporting, variance/trend analysis.
- Lead EU MDR forecast, consolidation and reporting.
- Perform monthly detailed gross margin analysis to provide a deep understanding of the components driving fluctuations and continue to identify areas of opportunity.
- Perform inventory accounting, quarterly EE&O reviews, serve as liaison with supply chain for inventory related issues.
- Serve as divisional representative on the CETS team, provide divisional inputs to reporting process, understand planning outputs and attend review calls.
- Be the liaison with the plant network to help division understand monthly results as well as help drive the annual standard improvement process.
- Lead the OCOGs planning process. Develop and perform monthly more robust margin reporting including price or volume impact.
- Support and monitor certain accounting areas performed by GBS including Sales Type Leasing accounting, SRR and Warranty Accrual.
- Lead SOX 404 controls for the division.
- Become a subject matter expert and assist with further enhancements of corporate-wide planning tools, leverage system knowledge to continuously improve reporting processes and work with IS to ensure data accuracy / reconciliations across our systems.

What we're looking for:
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of financial analysis, planning, and business support experience .
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Must be able to work well in a complex, highly matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Strong systems skills. Familiarity with Hyperion Planning and SAP a plus. Strong Excel skills required.
- Ability to consolidate, synthesize and report on large amounts of financial data.
- Very strong financial analysis skills. Attention to detail & data accuracy.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and act in a consultative role.
- Exceptional organizational & time management skills are crucial. Environment is fast-paced and multi-tasking is essential.
- Ideal candidate will show drive and ambition to develop and grow into more senior finance roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medium to large company with capital equipment
- MBA or Masters Degree
