Responsibilities:

The PJT Partners Technology team is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm’s business activities. 

Our Engineering team is focusing on leveraging cloud technology to enable our business and drive operational efficiency.  We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and dynamic engineer with a strong foundation in cloud migration to join our team. 

A Cloud Engineer within Technology can expect to:

• Work closely with the engineering and security teams to implement, maintain, and optimize PJT’s Microsoft 365 (M365) environment.
• Work closely with SaaS application owners to integrate their applications with Microsoft Entra ID and PJT infrastructure on Azure.
• Evaluate and implement different Microsoft services, with appropriate access control and secure configuration.
• Design and test new Microsoft 365 Cloud technologies.
• Implement Microsoft Azure cloud governance best practices.
• Build, deploy, and monitor Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Implement new compute environment on PJT’s Azure Cloud environment.

Qualifications:

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who possess both technical and functional skills, are highly motivated and collaborative self-starters, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Competitive candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering and infrastructure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in implementation of cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and DevSecOps
• Experience with the Microsoft M365 product suite, including but not limited to Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Purview, and Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of different Azure technologies related to data, such as DataFactory and DataBricks
• Strong knowledge of managing IAM and Identity Federation
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, AD Sync, and Entra ID

Expected annualized base salary of $85,000 to $110,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
