Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. - Play a critical role supporting communications efforts for the CEO and other executives.
- Draft op-eds, speeches, keynotes, blog posts, letters, video scripts, and other written and spoken materials.
- Provide guidance on communications strategy and tactics and ad-hoc communications advice.
- Identify and carry out projects to strengthen the company's voice.
- Work cross functionally with teams across the company and use internal and external resources to develop insightful and engaging narratives.
- Develop special communication projects in support of key corporate communications priorities.
- Develop communications and speechwriting strategies and procedures.
- Partner with the Creative Services team to help develop complimentary visuals and videos for external and internal events.
- Help executives assimilate content and fine tune delivery.
- Identify and vet prospective appearances that complement communication programs and initiatives.
- Maintain responsibility for repackaging materials as needed to ensure content and concepts extend into other communication efforts.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Rhetoric, Politics, Diplomacy, International Relations, Journalism, History or related field and 36 months of work experience in job offered or in a speechwriting or communications-related occupation.
- Or Employer will accept 60 months of work experience in the job offered or in a speechwriting or communications-related occupation.
- Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
- Experience must include 12 months of experience in the following:
- 1. Drafting written and spoken materials for leaders
- 2. Managing communications strategy
- 3. Handling crisis communications situations
- 4. Creating and executing communications programs
- 5. Developing communication programs driving business objectives across regions and cultures.
