IT Business Management Specialist

Position Summary:  Pike Enterprises, LLC is a leading is a leading provider of turnkey infrastructure solutions for electric and gas utilities, as well as telecommunications companies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Business Management Specialist to join our team and support our IT procurement operations.

 

Essential Functions:

• Manage the IT procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-effective solutions and potential vendors.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of vendor proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with company requirements.
• Track and manage IT expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to forecast IT procurement needs and budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key procurement metrics and KPIs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyses for management.
• Support contract management activities, ensuring compliance and performance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of IT products and services is a plus.
