As a Registered Nurse Educator you will Assess and provide all medical/nursing intervention for all participants based on their individual needs; serve participants while reflecting the values of Racker as defined in our Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct.
Typically will work Monday - Friday.

- Teach the Medication Administration, Tube Feeding, Diabetic Care and Colostomy Care classes to DSP's
- Maintain a caseload of RN oversight at houses
- Provide in-service training as needed
- Provide nursing orientation
- Coordinate nurses meeting with assistance of the Nursing Administrator
- Provide support and assistance to residential nurses in team at the direction of the Nursing Administrator
- Provide Medical perspective for other members of team
- Serve as a resource person on all health regulations, administrative directives and nursing best practices
- Assist with the development of new policies and procedures in coordination with the Nursing Administrator
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse with a New York State License.
