Legacy Behavioral Health Services is hiring individuals with a passion for making a difference in their community! We are seeking an Out Patient Team Leader to oversee our Cook and Tift Outpatient Clinics in Tifton and Adel, Georgia. The Outpatient Team Leader under the supervision of the Core Services Director will be responsible for the Cook/Tift Outpatient Clinic's clinical services on a day-to-day basis. In addition, to coordinating and facilitating clinical services, position requires high level organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently. The Outpatient Team Leader must have good interpersonal skills and ability to support staff functions throughout training, coaching, and counselling. The Outpatient Team Leader must have a good understanding of regulatory requirements, billing practices and evidence-based practices for clinical services provided for all age groups. This position will be expected to work with clinical leadership to create protocols, policies and maximize staff productivity. Close collaboration with entire treatment team is required. The Outpatient Team Leader will be expected to facilitate close relationships with other community providers and stakeholders and act as agency’s liaison with community agencies, advocating, promoting, and marketing LBHS services. Other duties as assigned.

This position requires:

• GA clinical license (LMSW, APC, AMFT ) required, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC preferred.
• Previous health care related management experience preferred.
• Valid GA diverse license.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
• Promotes teamwork
• Ability to problem solve
• Knowledge of behavioral health services and quality assurance requirements for CSBs per DBHDD, DCH, CARF
• Good understanding of clinic expenses and assigned budget
• Ability to analyze programs for compliance with rules, regulations, laws, and standards.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to effectively motivate staff to institute change
• Knowledge and understanding of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), electronic health records (EHRs), and ability to utilize computer programs to collect data, prepare reports, and make presentations
• Knowledge & understanding of basic health administration (including government regulations and patient privacy), financials (delivering quality healthcare within a budget), and clinical quality improvements (includes improving daily operations and meeting goals/objectives). Strong customer service skills

Working Conditions:
Work is normally performed in an office environment. Employees in this position may be exposed to virus, disease and infection from persons served or the working environment. Must be physically and emotionally fit to work in a stress-filled environment to meet deadlines

Physical Demands: the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: the physical demands include but are not limited to good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Must have the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 20 pounds.
