Manager, Market Development

Job Description

We’re looking for a Manager, Market Development to join our Go-To-Market Strategy team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Market Development Representatives and incubate new go-to-market motions for Procore. You'll be coaching and developing this team to hit key performance metrics, and identifying new ways to reach new customers. This position reports into the Senior Manager, GTM Strategy and M&A and has the opportunity to work remotely in the US or be based out of any of our US offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team of Market Development Representatives (MDRs) to test experimental sales motions, and reach new customers in new ways

• Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive focus and accountability

• Report back to the business on the team’s findings and success against KPIs in order to inform Procore’s GTM Strategy

• Collaborate with Procore’s Marketing, Product, and Sales organizations to identify new opportunities to engage with potential customers via new channels or motions

• Partner with the broader GTM Strategy team to enhance Procore’s growth strategy based on field learnings

What we’re looking for:

• BA/BS

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• 3+ years direct management experience in leading a sales or market development team (SDR, BDR, or MDR) at a leading technology company

• Experience in enterprise software / SaaS highly desirable

• Strong ability to design KPIs and coach/performance manage a team to achieve them

• Ability to work with minimal direction in developing and testing new sales motions

• Proven track record of working cross-functionally to set collaborative goals and communicate progress against them to leadership

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $108,000-$148,500. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
