As a Parts and Validation Technician, your precision and problem-solving skills ensure imaging systems perform at their best for customers every day. This role will manage, validate, and prepare critical parts while collaborating closely with engineers to support reliable field service operations. Essential Job Duties:

  • Validate, troubleshoot, and repair medical imaging parts to OEM standards for exceptional customer delivery.
  • Operate and maintain calibrated imaging systems and a safe, clean workspace.
  • Accurately document all validation, testing, and repair work for compliance and quality.
  • Expand technical expertise to strengthen engineering capability and service excellence.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, collaboration, and customer-focused communication.
  • Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Role Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational discipline.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software, basic computer tools, and accurate database entry.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively as a self-starter.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance, including meeting all driving, DOT, and background requirements.
  • Reliable professionalism, integrity, and readiness to uphold company and regulatory standards.


Experience and Education Requirements:

Preferred Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical imaging engineering, equipment repair, biomedical service, or a related technical service role.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, or technical field service is a plus.


Education (or equivalent experience)

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or related field.


Preferred Certifications

  • N/A


Travel Requirements:

Frequent driving 30%+, load, transport, deliver parts/equipment. Meet driver eligibility requirements. Minimum age 21, refer to company vehicle policy.



Physical and Environmental Requirements:

This role may involve

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout various work environments for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to access and service equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; heavier lifting may require assistance or mechanical aids.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools, small components, and electronic parts.
  • Visual acuity and color perception sufficient to read schematics, calibrate equipment, and identify wiring or indicators.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with healthcare and related facility staff, as well as document service activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in any situation where it is necessary.
  • Compliance with hospital health and safety requirements. Ability to safely operate and enter/exit vehicles, drive for extended periods and work in varied environmental conditions with potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials.
