The CTMS Program Office is a dual-institutional office housed within the Fred Hutch Research Administration. CTMS provides implementation and operational support services for the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) that is jointly managed by Fred Hutch Cancer Center and University of Washington. 

 

The CTMS Training Program Coordinator will assist the CTMS Training and Support Desk team with the development and maintenance of OnCore training resources, reference documents, and end user communications, and assistance with programmatic activities as needed. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as a high level of reliability and flexibility with changing priorities.

 

This can be a hybrid or remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of eLearning courses, training assessments, webinar presentations, and other training materials.
  • Manage eLearning content updates.
  • Create and edit training videos and recorded webinars.
  • Format and edit reference documents; proofread prior to publication.
  • Track document revisions.
  • Gather and edit content for communications, including biweekly newsletters, announcements, and calendar events.
  • Capture and edit screenshots to use in training materials; formatting the design, color, and layout to maximize visual appeal.
  • Assist with scheduling and running online training sessions and office hours, monthly webinars, and other ad hoc team training events.
  • Make updates to website content.
  • Assist with end user support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience in Education, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience developing training content in a clinical research or healthcare setting and/or experience developing training for enterprise software applications strongly desired.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Adobe Publisher, Storyline, Rise 360, & Camtasia.
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Teams, Zoom, Visio, Snagit, & WordPress preferred.
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Experience in communicating technical information to non-technical audiences, both in-person presentation, and visual/written communication and presentation.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software and skills independently.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable team member; commitment to acting in a professional and customer service orientated manner.
  • Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous tasks and activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing department needs.
  • Willingness to listen and learn, inquisitive.
  • Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid work setting.
