Job Description:
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant/Supply Liaison (Bond Room Technician) to serve as a member of our F135 Field Team supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, MD. Responsible for maintaining inventory control of Material Stores, Tool Room, Special Test and Support Equipment and property management according to applicable company and customer directives in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Responsible for packaging parts/tools and coordinating shipment. The successful candidate must perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Typical Duties:
- Complete and maintain required documentation in accordance with established procedures, including but not limited to work orders, tools, and equipment and deficiency reports.
- Complete and maintain maintenance requisition records and traceability for jet engine parts, components, controls, sub-assemblies, and engines to meet internal and external customer audit and inspection requirements.
- Maintain 100% accountability for all tools and hardware within the Bond Room or alternate storage locations.
- Route support equipment items through calibration/dead load testing processes and non-destructive inspections as required.
- Draft transportation documentation, package parts/tools, and coordinate shipment of items.
- Participate in and comply with the requirements of Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) Operating System and Environmental, Health, & Safety programs, training, and activities to meet company objectives/goals in support of the customer.
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
- One (1) year related experience and/or training needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. from ground to waist level and possibly overhead. Able to carry 25lbs. for distances up to 25 feet. Able to work with hands positioned overhead. Able to use hand tools, floor jacks, maintenance stands, ladders, and step stools.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in work performed is a must.
- Knowledge of how to interpret Safety Data Sheets and use of PPE to be able to handle oil, fuel, and hydraulic parts.
- Ability to use computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office and PDF software.
- Able to be trained and maintain certification to operate forklift, hand trucks, pick-up truck, and stacker equipment.
- Ability to work overtime, any shift with adequate notice and support periodic travel requirements is necessary.
