As a Lead Business Analyst- Product Delivery in Digital & Platform Services, you will be responsible for understanding current state client on-boarding processes, while employing design principles to address targeted pain points.  Our teams are responsible for the systemic delivery of strategic end state programs, to improve the overall client on-boarding experience and you will need to leverage your ability and acumen to manage a dynamic delivery schedule, on a month to month basis. You’ll need your strong sense of delivery ��discipline, applying this across their daily tasks and ensure the daily hygiene requirements of a release cycle are satisfied, ensuring administrative errors and missed requirements are avoided. You’ll also be responsible for a dynamic book of work for each monthly release cycle, where you will take ownership of identified defect resolutions and owning/ managing them through to completion.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage execution of projects within the line of business application, utilizing Agile project delivery methodologies and experienced user of JIRA and delivering business solutions via the creation of related user EPICS and Stories
  • Identify, assess, and articulate near-term business needs, advise businesses on options, risks, and costs of technology solutions versus benefits
  • Communicate, proactively, the requirements/priorities and project status to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into value-added, comprehensive solutions that will feed into test plans using appropriate processes, procedures and technology
  • Manage the implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, that will contribute to training material development and manage the monthly delivery cycle for the line of business items, including associated daily JIRA hygiene elements of the EPICS/ Stories
  • Ensure all appropriate status updates/ standards are applied within JIRA across the Product Delivery group and be responsible for the successful delivery of monthly prioritized product items
  • Take ownership, management and processing of identified & legacy in-cycle/ post-release defect resolution and ensuring blockers are appropriately managed, resolved and escalated, where required
  • Provide regular status updates to Product Owner, Product teams and related partners and support the Product Owner and provide group education, as required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experienced Business Analyst working within an Agile Technology/ Product delivery environment
  • Practical application of Agile & Waterfall methods in real-time scenarios
  • Deep understanding & practical experience of JIRA, including EPIC creation/ Story writing/ Status management/ Dashboard reporting and Technology/ Process release management experience 
  • Defect identification/ management/ resolution skills needed for legacy, in-flight & post-release issues identified
  • Ability to manage dynamic and detailed delivery schedules, including daily book of work management and highly energetic self-starter with a focus on obtaining results
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; able to present effectively and ability to lead and influence varied stakeholder groups & situations, in order to progress initiatives
  • Ability to communicate effectively across many levels of the organization, including synthesizing key messages for senior management
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust/ make tactical choices to changing priorities
