Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Human-Centered Design Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
You will be responsible for be assisting the program team with all aspects of implementing and/or leveraging HCD methods, techniques, and principles as they modernize cyber risk management processes and supporting systems and operations
Using appropriate research methodology, tools, and protocols to conduct user-centered research, including but not limited to usability studies, focus groups, and data analysis
Creating personas through user research and data
Working closely with Business Analyst and Product Owners to refine user stories and categorize the user-centric requirements
Demonstrating an understanding of the customers team’s capability visions by researching, wireframing, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences
Translating concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
Identifying design problems, developing elegant solutions, and justifying design decisions eloquently
Communicating design ideas and prototypes supported by objective analyses to facilitate decision-making
Developing presentations and reports conveying complex information
Perform subjective and objective research both qualitatively and quantitatively, to gather deep end-user understanding
Participating on an agile team and use expand your knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., SAFe, JIRA, Confluence)
Orchestrates coordination between stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
Performs planning and facilitation of stakeholder meetings.
Selects appropriate analysis methodologies and documentation standards.
Leads analysis of alternatives for improving organizations and business processes.
Anticipates requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and designing appropriate solutions.
Basic Requirements:
8 or more years of experience as a HCD Expert or similar role
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Human Centered Design, User Experience, or Information Management), or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
Must be able to work remotely and be able to travel occasionally as needed
Experience leading and delivering HCD projects
Experience leading client briefings and review sessions; demonstrated ability to present a polished and professional image to clients
Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments
Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology-based consulting environment
Willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems, which often extend beyond initial scope of responsibility
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Security Requirements:
US Citizenship is required for this role, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
