About the role
This is a remote position.
Location: Currently remote; may transition to onsite in the future We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Development Lead who will be responsible for leading Salesforce design and development activities, managing a team of developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (as applicable)
- Own solution design and provide technical direction to the team.
- Apex Classes, Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura
- Visualforce pages (if needed)
- SOQL/SOSL queries
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Code reviews
- Best practices enforcement
- Unit testing (minimum 75% coverage)
- Change Sets, SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Support release planning, sprint execution, and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and Product Owners.
- Guide team members and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are followed.
Requirements
6+ years overall IT experience with 4+ years in Salesforce development Strong hands-on in:- Apex, Triggers, Batch, Queueable, Schedulers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Data Model and Security model
- Flows, Validation rules, Workflow rules
- Profiles, Permission sets, Sharing rules
- Governor limits and performance tuning
- Integration patterns and error handling
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Platform Developer I / II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Application Architect / System Architect (preferred)
- Copado / Gearset / Jenkins pipelines
- Experience in domain like Banking, Insurance, Retail, Telecom (if applicable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Team leadership and mentoring ability
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ownership mindset and ability to work independently
