About the role

This is a remote position.

Location: Currently remote; may transition to onsite in the future We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Development Lead who will be responsible for leading Salesforce design and development activities, managing a team of developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (as applicable)
  • Own solution design and provide technical direction to the team.
​Develop and review Salesforce components including:
  • Apex Classes, Triggers
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura
  • Visualforce pages (if needed)
  • SOQL/SOSL queries
Implement integrations using:
  • REST/SOAP APIs
Ensure code quality through:
  • Code reviews
  • Best practices enforcement
  • Unit testing (minimum 75% coverage)
Manage deployments using tools like:
  • Change Sets, SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines
  • Support release planning, sprint execution, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and Product Owners.
  • Guide team members and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are followed.

Requirements

6+ years overall IT experience with 4+ years in Salesforce development Strong hands-on in:
  • Apex, Triggers, Batch, Queueable, Schedulers
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Data Model and Security model
Experience in Salesforce configuration:
  • Flows, Validation rules, Workflow rules
  • Profiles, Permission sets, Sharing rules
Strong knowledge of:
  • Governor limits and performance tuning
  • Integration patterns and error handling
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Good to Have Salesforce Certifications like:
  • Platform Developer I / II
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Application Architect / System Architect (preferred)
Experience with DevOps tools:
  • Copado / Gearset / Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience in domain like Banking, Insurance, Retail, Telecom (if applicable)
