A Taste of What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Communications Coordinator for GALLO's office in New York, you’ll play a key role in bringing integrated marketing and communications initiatives to life, supporting work that builds brand awareness, drives consumer engagement, and advances business objectives. This role is ideal for an early‑career marketing professional with experience in marketing communications who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic CPG environment while working closely with experienced marketers and agency partners.
In this role, you’ll help execute campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels by coordinating timelines, assets, approvals, and deliverables to keep work moving forward. You’ll support public relations efforts by assisting with press materials, media tracking, newsroom content, and event coordination, gaining hands‑on exposure to how brands show up in culture and media. You’ll also contribute to trade paid media efforts, helping manage assets, insertion orders, performance reporting, and execution tracking.
Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll interface with internal teams including brand, creative, sales, legal, and finance, as well as external agencies and partners, ensuring information flows smoothly and work stays organized. Along the way, you’ll build foundational skills in project management, communications strategy, and operational excellence, while demonstrating ownership, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing plus experience in marketing; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of experience in marketing reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Foundational understanding of communications concepts.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & foundational AI tools.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and utilize internal systems effectively.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
