Senior Engineering Support Specialist

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with submarine fire control systems and a strong technical background.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot submarine fire control systems.
• Perform diagnostics and ensure systems are functioning optimally.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and modifications.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Document system performance and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Must have experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).
• Familiarity with Jira for project management and issue tracking.

Combined Salary Range

USD $80,024.00 - USD $86,589.00 /Yr.
