This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Hardee Correctional Institution in the Warehouse.

Our mission in the Our mission in the Warehouse is to efficiently manage the storage and distribution of supplies, as well as handle all incoming and outgoing mail for the correctional facilities. We aim to ensure that all operations run smoothly, supporting the overall functioning of the institution, and meeting the needs of both staff and inmates.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

 

Salary: $33,760 Annually

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide clerical and operational support for daily tasks like mailroom, inmate discharge, cash receipts, and laundry operations.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, prepare routine replies, and assist vendors and staff with questions or problems.
• Support institutional operations by managing court documents and serving as backup for other staff duties.
• Maintain professional relationships by assisting with data intake, correspondence, data entries, and file management while ensuring positive communication.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered, monitored, and documented properly, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
