Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place. </p><p>About you and this role </p><p>We have an exciting opportunity as an EH&amp;S Delivery Technician for Site Logistics located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands!</p><p></p><p>As EH&amp;S Technician, you share responsibility for the implementation of the EH&amp;S management system, in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate. You will also provide hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene (IH), and health and safety (H&amp;S) activities for a specific plant.</p><p></p><p>This role requires established basic EH&amp;S skills to perform a range of routine work activities using existing standard EH&amp;S procedures and/or analytical/ scientific methods.</p><p></p><p>You will provide EH&amp;S support to the execution of engineering project as managed by the construction department complying with all Dow life critical standards.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li>You will implement detailed, task level, day to day EH&amp;S programs, utilizing the EH&amp;S work process, standards and procedures.</li><li>You ensure that the Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety aspects of operating discipline are adequate and applied to achieve EH&amp;S performance goals. In most cases, would perform the role of section owner for the EH&amp;S sections of operating discipline.</li><li>You act as the department EH&amp;S resource for related EH&amp;S information on procedures, guidelines and standards and ensures that compliance tasks are completed.</li><li>You serve as department contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.</li><li>You will coach teams and individuals on EH&amp;S related tasks and activities.</li><li>You will assist in developing and achieving area or department EH&amp;S goals.</li><li>You perform and coordinate certain Environmental, and IH monitoring, data collection, analyzing and reporting for the department.</li><li>You will provide EH&amp;S support during preparation of safe works on project and supervision during execution of projects.</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Completion of at least a MBO 4 education plus MVK certificate. In lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience required.</li><li>Fluency in the English and Dutch language.</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional notes</p><p>This role is for a temporary (1 year) contract.</p><p></p><p></p><p>About Dow</p><p>Dow (NYSE: DOW) combines global breadth; asset integration and scale; focused innovation and materials science expertise; leading business positions; and environmental, social and governance leadership to achieve profitable growth and help deliver a sustainable future.
