Business Analyst (Full Time, Hybrid-Remote)

Description

At MetaSource we are looking for a Business Analyst that has experience working for a Business Process Management or Software Development company. This position identifies and defines business process requirements and acts as a liaison between business units and clients to research and identify alternative business solutions.

Location: Hybrid Remote, must be able to periodically come into our Bristol PA office. 

Responsibilities:

• Serves as liaison for Sales, Client Services, IT, Project Management and Client.
• Analyzes business process requirements through testing, business consulting, and support services.
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions.
• Gathers Requirements from Sales, Client Services and Client.
• Creates and maintains project specifications and project workflow diagram describing the overall solution.
• Assists in the development of Statement of Work and/or Change Request; and creates and maintains the Business Requirements Document.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
• Performs data analysis and documentation through identifying potential areas of automation, and re-engineering the underlying business process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science or business field or 3-5 years of business analyst, systems analyst, or related work experience; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Experience working for a Business Process Management or Software Development company.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondences; can professionally present themselves orally or verbally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook; ability to develop and Maintain SQL Queries.
