JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Patient Care Services is a direct supervisory leadership role that is a key member of the Nursing leadership team. Leads staff members and actively participates in overall management of the area, development of clinical practice, and provision of patient care with accountabilities for implementation and outcomes for people leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance, throughput and scheduling. Ensures the unit's optimal performance by engaging in effective problem solving for staff, patients and families and to develop/lead the assigned staff. Provides feedback and coaching to staff members, recognizing them for their contributions while fostering a high performance culture. Under the guidance and direction of the manager, develops, implements and evaluates systems that promote cost effective quality patient care.
This position will provide supportive leadership for approximately thirteen (13) clinical staff and assist four (4) administrative staff with continued growth in clinical positions. In addition, this position will provide clinical leadership in support of nine (9) primary care providers with an annual budgeted volume of 20,289 visits for FY25, with potential for additional provider(s). This roleis responsible for providing direct supervisory leadership that is a key member of the Leadership Team. In addition, this role will actively participate in overall management of the clinics, development of clinical practice, the provision of patient care with accountabilities of implementation and outcomes for people leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance, throughput and scheduling. This position under the guidance and direction of the manager would develop, implement and evaluate systems that promote cost effective quality patient care while providing coaching and feedback to staff members, recognizing them for their contributions while fostering a high-performance culture. This position would be onsite clinical support in staffing when needed within modestly staffed clinics.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experiences:
-Previous leadership experience highly preferred as this is a complex role in supporting multiple locations that are new to primary care.
-Ambulatory | clinic experience is desired
-Nursing primary care background is helpful
-Tennessee Registered Nurse license
-BSN prepared RN
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and exact hours will be based on clinic needs.
