The Educational Technology Master’s Program is designed for educators who are excited about the potential technology offers for increasing student engagement and learning. Our students want to extend their skills for implementing relevant technology-enhanced activities in their own learning environments. The Educational Technology Master’s Program in the Learning & Instruction Department in USF’s School of Education invites applications for an adjunct faculty position.

Full Job Description:

The Educational Technology Master’s Program is seeking an adjunct instructor, for the Spring 2025 semester. Below is a description of the course that needs staffing:

610: Web Design Lab. In this course students will explore the essentials of web design. This is a content rich, but coding lite, course. Students will gain foundational skills for creating information-rich websites. In general, these websites can serve as educational tools for communicating with students, parents, fellow educators, other learning professionals, and a variety of other potential audiences. In essence, students will explore how web design can enhance and support vibrant learning designs in, and outside, of the classroom.

This course is offered in two sections (01- which is the in-person section) and (50 - which is the asynchronous, fully online section). The instructor hired will be responsible for teaching both sections of the course.

Schedule
The in-person course meets on the following dates/times:

  • Teaching Weekend Saturdays: 8:00 am – 12:15 pm.
  • Dates for Spring 2025 semester: 1/18, 1/25, 2/8, 2/22, 3/8, 3/22, 4/5, 4/12, 5/3.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications include an earned Doctorate or Master’s degree in Educational Technology or a related field, and relevant expertise.
