ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day delivery requirements and shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles, stock inventory, pull orders for jobs, assist with the warehouse duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Load trucks making sure to secure the load to avoid damage in transit. Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles.
- Organize Job bins for jobsite materials.
- Safely drive from warehouse to make deliveries.
- Report all warehouse protocol violations to manager immediately.
- Report any building maintenance or building safety concerns to warehouse manager immediately.
- Cross train in all aspects of warehouse to qualify as a backup as needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Assist in necessary stock pulls.
- Assist in lawn and grounds maintenance as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience in the coordination and organization of inventoried materials preferably in a commercial construction setting.
- A minimum of three (3) years driving a delivery truck.
- Class D driver’s License.

Tool List will be provided.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
