Job Description
The Senior Product Manager for I-9 Management, will be responsible for existing products and driving new products, defining product strategy, product positioning, roadmap direction, and revenue attainment.
The incumbent will also assess competitor products, services, and market trends to strengthen the Experian Employer Services I-9 solution set in the market as well as lead business process improvement projects, partnerships, and product marketing strategies.
- Responsible for establishing deep product expertise from a product and market perspective by understanding buyer and user personas, features and functionality, ROI, value proposition, architecture, competitive landscape, voice of customer, and market trends to drive/own a product/portfolio strategy.
- Understands the jobs to be done and leverages market intelligence, regulatory shifts, client feedback, and internal stakeholder feedback to define and prioritize enhancements (features or operational tools) and new products into a product roadmap.
- Expert in the Agile framework and establishes and monitors key metrics to drive adoption of Agile processes and tools in partnership with the Product Owner to write product requirements, communicate priorities for sprint and release plans, participates in backlog refinement and retrospectives.
- Contribute and participate in business level strategy discussions and plans for the broader Experian Employer Services suite of products
- Communications and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. development, marketing, sales, implementation, client success, legal/risk, finance) in efforts to support their product(s) in market
- Own the product strategy and roadmap of our I-9 Management product portfolio.
- Acting as a market expert able to use data-driven storytelling to acquire consensus for your product vision with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion product initiatives and business cases to executive management team for prioritization and development; act as a key product expert, evangelist, and advocate for initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Partner with UX design and engineering leadership to ensure delivery of scalable solutions that delight consumers and partners
- Constantly evaluate and assess competitive landscape, creating strategic assessments of current and emerging competitors, track industry trends, supplier capabilities, and synthesize competitive intelligence as a market expert.
Qualifications
What your background looks like:
- 7+ years of experience as a product manager delivering enterprise-scale solutions
- Proven track record of launching new product and managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate the goals of a product or feature to internal stakeholders
- Passion for design and usability coupled with a strong technical aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an exceptionally strong attention to detail
- Curious, self-motivated thinker; always asks why a
