Business Analyst

Job Purpose

The Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business.

• Maintaining, testing and improving business and systems operations.

• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

• Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.

• Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.

• Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.

• Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management.

• Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups.

• Supervising the design of new products and evaluating how they perform in the practices.

• Creating and maintaining monthly performance reports.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred

Experience: 5-10 years experience in a Business Analyst role

Working Conditions

Works in a typical office setting with climate control; travel to other locations is required periodically
