About this role
What will you be responsible for?
The Executive Assistant works independently, exercising initiative, discretion and judgement, making appropriate decisions within the scope of assigned responsibility in support of the Chief People Officer and the Group Heads (direct reports). Leveraging sound judgement gained through previous experience, the Executive Assistant creates, plans and accomplishes support goals.
Your role will consist of
Here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:
• Provide all administrative services, exercising independent judgement and discretion for the Chief People Officer and the Group Heads (direct reports).
• Proactively manage executive calendars and provide meeting coordination.
• Receiving/relaying messages from internal and external stakeholders, managing the time/interaction the CPO has with internal and external sources.
• Coordinate and arrange internal and external meetings and prepare materials and items for each meeting, including setup of A/V equipment.
• Composing, editing, proofing, formatting for important correspondence and documents.
• Responsible for generating reports, and take and transcribe minutes of meetings as necessary.
• Handle confidential business and personnel information, and time critical material with tact and discretion.
• Arrange for and coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, to include PPE when needed, with constant follow-up to facilitate travel and ensure safety for executives.
• Coordination with other members of the Administrative Team for scheduling and meeting coverage.
• Compile and complete expense reports for CPO and Group Heads.
• Generate requests for payment, which includes creating Purchase Requisitions.
• Receive and review all mail, resolving what needs to be brought to the attention of the executive.
• Perform copying, collating, binding, packaging, etc, and disseminate routine and other documents as requested by department personnel including mail/messenger/meeting preparations.
• Sophisticated project coordination and assignment as requested.

- Work experience supporting a C-level executive in a large organization with a proven track record of results driven performance.
- Associate's degree or a combination of certificates and work experience as an executive assistant or other transferrable skills is required.
- Advanced computer skills and advanced knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be discrete, tactful and professional.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $39.50 - 47.00. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
