We are looking for motivated, self-driven professionals who are energized by team results and interested in joining a firm that values its culture and people as its biggest strengths. This position is based out of our office in Durham, NC. It is a hybrid role and will require you to work in the office 2-3 days/week.

What You’ll Do as a Human Resources (HR) Administrator

The HR Administrator will provide hands-on support across all HR processes and programs. This collaborative role is critical in enabling our people-initiatives, providing employee support, and driving HR operational excellence.

Employee Lifecycle

  • Assist with all new hire onboarding and alumni-transition related activities
  • Create new hire and alumni transition packages
  • Process employee paperwork and forms
  • Maintain personnel, benefit, and alumni records
  • Track and file employee performance appraisals
  • Prepare payroll inputs

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Collects and maintains employee master data across all internal systems, platforms, and databases
  • Support annual compliance reporting requirements
  • Generates, compiles, and distributes reports to HR team and firm leadership
  • Facilitate the firm’s reward and recognition programs

Benefits & Total Rewards

  • Process enrollments and beneficiary elections for the firm’s health, wellness, and insurance plans
  • Distribute benefit resources and tools to employees
  • Collect and maintain data and information required for benefits administration and carrier quotes
  • Process 401(k) enrollments and contribution changes

General Administration

  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day resource for Clarkston employees
  • Process employment verification requests
  • Maintain HR SharePoint sites, including basic site design and updating of information
  • Assist with special projects and other Talent Management duties as assigned

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for self-starters and passionate HR administrative professionals. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of one (1) year prior Human Resources administration experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, human resource information systems (HRIS), and technology platforms
  • The ability to handle and work with a high level of confidential material and information with tact and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability multi-task and work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
