THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Mid-Level Backend for our CODE (Consumer Digital Experience) Focus Area, Challenges & Gamification team in Portugal! 

CODE is an acronym for Consumer Digital Experience, which means we're in charge of the experience and services that will guide people in their wellbeing journey. Our main goal in CODE is to make wellbeing universal. From knowing about Wellhub and getting access to exclusive benefits to using our vast partner network, it is in the end-user experience. 

CODE teams are responsible for developing and maintaining Wellhub's App, frontend, and backend services, and Design System and work closely with product, UX, and data teams to create an excellent experience for the users of our platform. 

Our mission as Challenges & Gamification Squad is to create new products that can boost user engagement. Also, we want the users to stick on the Wellhub Services. So, we are constantly doing experiments.

• You will take ownership of some key features, perform pull request reviews, and take part in all the architectural decisions of the squad;

• You are bold and innovative. You are eager to learn and share knowledge, and improve your toolset of technical, business continuity, and communication skills to provide more and more impact to the company;
• You ensure successful deliveries and promote the long-term technical health of our journeys;
• Ensure a high bar on code quality standards, making sure devs are proud of their work;
• You spread development best practices such as code reviews, pair programming, TDD, etc;
• Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production;
