We are seeking talented Systems Engineers to join the Collins Aerospace Next Gen Systems team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on the cutting-edge Collins Flight Deck. Our team offers a variety of challenging technical tasks designed to develop the next generation of engineers. As part of our team, you'll contribute to high-level systems requirements, define avionics architectures, and participate in systems verification activities.

What You Will Do: 

  • Work with an integrated team of Collins engineers throughout the System life cycle to design, develop, verify, and deliver total systems solutions.  

  • Design and Implement system requirements and create/update tests to verify the code implementation meets the requirements. 

  • Review artifacts, such as requirements, code, and tests, that others produce and implement changes that others identify when peer reviewing artifacts that you have produced. 

What You Will Learn: 

  • Be paired with a “copilot”, or technical mentor, and work alongside the “copilot” and other software engineering team members to experience a real industry project.  

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
