The Data and BI Architect bridges business needs with technical solutions by designing comprehensive BI architectures and establishing data frameworks. With deep domain expertise in core business functions, this role translates complex data into actionable insights, partners with stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities, and collaborates with technical teams to maintain architectural integrity. This role drives the adoption of innovative technologies while ensuring proper data governance and quality standards to advance the organization's analytical capabilities. This role collaborates closely with data engineers, QA analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate raw data into meaningful insights, supporting TireHub’s 400+ users across multiple departments.
This role will report to the Business Intelligence Leader.

Role Specifics:
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to build an expert-level understanding of specific business areas and the metrics critical to driving performance.
· Partners with stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights that inform decision-making. Ability to independently search for, identify, and evaluate opportunities where advanced analytics can make positive business impacts.
· Lead BI and analytics project delivery through collaboration with BI developers and data engineers.
· Possesses advanced expertise in one or more core business functions (sales, finance, or operations). Leverages BI and analytical tools to uncover trends and identify exceptions to enhance operational excellence across various business units.
· Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies through quick proof of concepts and pilots to improve platform capabilities that achieve business objectives and support analytics needs.
· Develop and maintain enterprise frameworks for data models, taxonomies, and metadata
· Establish technical standards and best practices for data management and analytics
· Collaborate closely with data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure execution of processes align with platform architecture, frameworks, and best practices
· Work with IT security to maintain environment and object-level security protocols for the data platform, ensuring appropriate user access while safeguarding data integrity.
· Provide technical leadership for complex data and analytics initiatives
· Partners closely with data engineers and other BI developers to review and refine data designs, manage metadata, and ensure data quality through standardized calculations, report labels, and balancing controls to support advanced analytics.
· Operate within a team-based Agile/Sprint development environment, contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality reporting and analytical solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
· Demonstrates a commitment to learning by researching, recommending, and applying new data engineering techniques to advance the organization’s analytical capabilities.
