About the role

The Position

Are you seeking a new challenge where you can act as a Business Partner and steer the business profitably in different projects? As Manager Financial Evaluation, you will model and evaluate projects for licensing, distribution, co-marketing, capital expenditures, business alliances and acquisitions as business development measures. The position collaborates with colleagues in Corporate Finance and Business Alliance Managers to ensure planning and reporting of strategic alliances is done properly and timely.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will participate actively in project team meetings and co-operate closely with departments within FI division (Central Controlling, Country and Regional Controlling, Tax, M&A and Finance HPBU/IU) and business partners.
  • One of your key tasks will be to design and run financial analyses and to perform internal and external benchmarking to provide clear and objective data presentations to support investment decisions.
  • Moreover, you will ensure that Finance & Business partner interests are well represented at all meetings and facilitate alignment by providing appropriate level of transparency and documentation of financial data.
  • You will be responsible for financial integrity of the processes and ensure proper internal controls framework is in place and applied.
  • Furthermore, you will drive process improvements (process efficiency improvement and value add culture) and implement necessary intercompany agreements as well as their updates and retention.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma or master´s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent - Few years of relevant work experience in consulting or Pharma/Biotech industries (especially in Animal Health topics would be a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities based on the successful completion of multiple projects
  • Business partner focus: dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers - Solid command of Excel, ThinkCell knowledge advantageous
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical thinking, strong enabling attitude, supports integrity and trust, capable and agile mindset
  • Fluent in English in writing and speaking
