Senior Product Manager

This role requires a vision for delivering impactful customer experiences while having a broad understanding of the security challenges associated with APIs, and knowledge of application security.</p><p>The product manager needs to be a collaborative individual who is data-driven, action-focused, and comfortable interacting with customers globally. The ideal candidate will have a solid mix of both technical and business skills with the ability to transition between working with development teams, customers, and field-facing teams and experience working in a fast, startup environment.</p><p><strong>How will you make an impact?</strong></p><p>Initiate product strategy, roadmap, and thought leadership by having a deep understanding of the marketplace and its competition while aligning with Checkmarx’s overall strategy</p><p>Collaborate with the outbound product manager to define and prioritize a backlog of work, including the creation of epics and user stories and be data-driven in prioritizing features and quality improvements.</p><p>Collaborate with the customers, sales, R&amp;D, and other product managers to deliver product releases that are aligned to both business needs and align with Checkmarx unified platform-based portfolio products in terms of an integrated end-user experience.</p> <h3>Requirements</h3> <p><strong>What is needed to succeed?</strong></p><ul><li>At least 5 years’ work experience as a product manager</li><li>Experience with technical products</li><li>Experience in working with B2B SaaS/Cloud products</li><li>Experience with agile methodologies and an MVP approach, preferably from working in a startup company</li><li>Strong technical background and practical understanding of cybersecurity ecosystems, attack techniques, and cybersecurity-leading products.</li><li>Prior experience in working with Software Developers and communicating technical requirements with the development team</li><li>Demonstrated strong, structured, and data-driven problem-solving and prioritization skills for multi-dimensional problems</li></ul><p>Advantage:</p><ul><li>Experience in Cybersecurity industry</li></ul> <h3>What we have to offer</h3> <p>Checkmarx offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, competitive compensation, great work-life balance, as well as great benefits and perks throughout the year.</p><p><em>Checkmarx is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
