Physical Therapist

Position Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

· Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations, as well as their medical history and overall health

· Develop treatment plans that outline the specific goals and interventions for each patient

· Use a variety of techniques to help patients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy

· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care and provide a holistic approach to treatment

· Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed

· Educate patients and families about their condition and how to manage it at home

· Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.

· Stay up to date with the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities

· May also be responsible for supervising physical therapy assistants or aides.

Physical Requirements:

· Extensive standing and walking

· Lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients

· Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching

Licensed Physical Therapist 

Vestibular experience preferred
