Job Description:

The State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Business Systems Analyst Supervisor. Under limited supervision, the IT Business Systems Analyst Supervisor supervises IT Business Systems Analyst and/or IT Business Systems Analyst Coordinator positions on a regular and recurring basis. Performs business process analysis and design and provides systems support for automated business applications by serving as a liaison between the business end users and applications developers; as well as performs related work as assigned.

As an IT Business Analyst Supervisor, you will:

• Analyze and Report on Performance: Regularly analyze call center data and generate reports to provide insights into performance trends and areas for improvement.

• Foster a Positive Work Environment: Create a supportive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee satisfaction.

• Optimize Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources to handle peak call volumes, ensuring that the call center can meet demand without compromising service quality.


Hiring rate will increase July 1, 2024 to $30.450 per hour - Exempt

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Dress Attire: Business Casual

Office Location: Statewide depending on office space availability


 

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in leading or supervising employees engaged in the analysis of business processes and system requirements, and the creation of business process solutions for large-scale business system applications. OR Experience in coordinating business process projects through the facilitation of others for large-scale business system applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field like business administration or human resources.

  • Experience in employee management, operations, and human resources.

  • Be proficient in staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Additionally, communication, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills are also highly desired for this role.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Customer Service Center experience.

  • A high level of analyzing Data.

  • Experience in Workforce Management.
