Lead Accountant

Corestream is looking for a Lead Accountant to track and evaluate all day-to-day accounting transactions/activities.  Responsibilities include processing and managing AP, AR, and payroll activities within the general ledger as well as prepare and analyze monthly financial statements. Responsibilities

• Manage and perform the daily transactional activities with the General Ledger (Netsuite)
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures for ongoing activities.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly analysis of financial statements
• Support annual audits

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting/audit
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
• BS degree in accounting
