The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Senior Staff Factory Automation Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead to join our team and pioneer new approaches, design and implement technologies for a computer integrated manufacturing system. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define software and hardware integration strategy for advanced digital platforms supporting manufacturing and fabrication of microelectronics.
  • Support planning, design, development and installation of manufacturing automation tools and services.
  • Collaborate with solution providers and partners to verify capabilities satisfy program requirements.
  • Design validation approaches to ensure the system fulfills its operational objectives and stakeholder requirements in its intended operational setting.
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
  • Develop system level roadmaps capturing the advancement of MDA and other relevant technologies.
  • Lead system engineering activities: trade studies, analysis of alternatives and requirement decomposition/allocation.

This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Staff Factory Automation SEIT Lead:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), with 14+ years of experience in engineering of systems supporting software integration or manufacturing or a Masters degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), with 12+ years of experience in engineering of systems supporting software integration or manufacturing or a PHD in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), with 10+ years of experience in engineering of systems supporting software integration or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience in systems or software development, integration, and test.
