The Full Stack Software Engineer: Contract role is based in the Dublin, Ireland office.
Our technological platform is constantly evolving as we apply new and emerging technologies to our expanding business. We’re seeking a talented, highly motivated software engineer with extensive development experience to join us on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work with a global team supporting one of our key internal platforms.
Technology Stack:
.NET, .NET Core, C#, WinForms, Entity Framework, SQL Server, MVC, REST APIs, JavaScript, JSON, AWS, Pub/Sub Messaging services, AG-Grid, Git, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business domain leads, users, designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of client applications with backend services and subsystems.
Optimize applications for performance, observability and reliability using coding best practices.
Continuously improve and optimize performance for end-user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues and bugs in a timely fashion.
Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code stability and reliability.

Candidate Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in full-stack .NET application development.
Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Experience of core web development skills e.g., MVC, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JS libraries.
Extensive experience in writing and maintaining unit tests and integration tests.��
Experience working with AWS technologies like S3 and Lambda serverless.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and with software automation platforms like GitHub Actions.
Nice-To-Have:
Prior experience working in Financial Services/Insurance industry.
Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
